Erin K. Copeland, a native Houstonian, has practiced personal injury law for more than 20 years, representing clients in both state and federal courts across the country. She works on behalf of injured individuals and families who have their lost loved ones due to the wrongful conduct of others.

Aside from handling a diverse individual case docket at the Houston-based trial firm of Fibich, Leebron, Copeland, Briggs & Josephson, Erin is managing the firm’s transvaginal mesh docket. In 2012, she was appointed by the Honorable Judge Goodwin to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the following federal MDL’s currently pending in the Southern District of West Virginia:

Erin is also part of a team of award winning veteran trial attorneys currently representing hundreds of victims of a variety of other dangerous products and pharmaceuticals. Fibich, Leebron, Copeland, Briggs & Josephson have cases pending in jurisdictions across the country.

Erin is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Missouri. She was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2014. She has also been admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the Southern District, the Northern District, and the Eastern District of Texas as well as other jurisdictions nationwide by pro hac vice admission. She was certified as an Attorney Ad Litem in Texas in 2009 and has been trained in both general civil and family law mediation. She has also served as a volunteer mediator for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center.
